Mr. Tapia, as Vice President, co-manages the West Coast operations for UrbanAmerica and is actively involved in the firm’s investment efforts which include structuring joint-ventures, developing strategic relationships, underwriting potential acquisitions and development opportunities as well as negotiating, managing and coordinating with potential partners, consultants and other stakeholders. Over the past 13 years, Mr. Tapia has worked in the U.S., and internationally, on over 16.0 million square feet and $2.0 billion dollars worth of real estate transactions across several product types - functional areas ranging from private equity, financial consulting and business development to real estate development, project and client relationship management and strategic planning. Mr. Tapia graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with a MBA in Banking and Finance from Case Western Reserve University, Ohio. He also holds a Master in Engineering from Cornell University, New York and a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from University of Pune, India. /p>
